US Airways Join Union Forces in Push for New Labor Agreements
According to Pittsburgh Business Times:
Several labor unions representing US Airways Group Inc. workers banded together pushing the Arizona airline's management to complete new labor agreements stemming from the 2005 merger with America West Airlines.
Unions representing airline pilots, flight attendants mechanics, reservation agents and other US Airways workers have formed the US Airways Labor Coalition.
The labor group wants US Airways (NYSE:LCC) management to focus on merger-related issues, including forging new agreements with pilots and other work groups and the carrier's sagging stock price.
