How Much Does Your Congressman Cost?
Second Installment of a Year-Long Look at Campaign Funding in Various Congressional Races
Washington, DC – Today, the Alliance for Worker Freedom (AWF) published the following matrix highlighting union contributions to recent campaigns’ from Political Action Committee’s (PAC). In the 2008 campaign season, labor unions have given 90 percent (about $29 million) of all political contributions to Democrats and 10 percent to Republicans. The table below highlights what percentage of union funding contributed to overall PAC contributions for the respective candidate.
