President-elect Donald Trump won the presidential election in large part because he offered change. Americans were tired of the crony capitalism, corruption, do-nothing government bureaucrats and the DC arrogance.

Trump has a plan for all these problems, most particularly for government bureaucrats.

Hundreds of workers at the O’Hare International Airport in Chicago have threatened to strike during one of the peak periods of holiday travel, Thanksgiving week. 

They claim that they are not trying to halt airport operations, but to slow them and make their demands be heard for a $15 wage and better working conditions.

Sixth Circuit upholds Kentucky county RTW ordinance

Washington, DC - On November 18^th, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the constitutionality of Hardin County Kentucky’s local right-to-work ordinance.

Hardin was one of a dozen Kentucky counties which passed right-to-work ordinances from December 2014 to May 2015. Right-to-work laws allow workers to opt out of union membership and dues.

At a November 10^th press conference in Detroit about the election, United Auto Workers’ (UAW) President Dennis Williams said that he wants to meet with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss trade deals.  

His particular focus is overturning the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Energy Transfer Partners started its project in 2014 to build the $3.7 billion Dakota Access pipeline near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. The pipeline would carry 470,000 barrels of oil a day from western North Dakota to Illinois. The company says the project will help the local economy and create 8,000 – 12,000 construction jobs.
