Nurses’ Union: Labor's Biggest Loser

CWF awarded the National Nurses United (NNU) “Labor Loser” of the Year, 2014.  The nurses’ union, which represents 185,000 workers, received the first annual award for using the Ebola crisis as a bargaining tactic to advance its leftist political agenda.  CWF’s Matt Patterson explained why the NNU received this honor in Forbes:

“It was tough competition, but the NNU has distinguished itself by exemplifying the defining traits of organized labor — thuggish tactics, left-wing zealotry, and tireless advocacy for more and bigger government.”
