Recently the CWF was quoted exclusivly in The Daily Caller. Connor D. Wolf quoted our Executive Director, Matt Patterson, in his piece, "Unions Win Stunning Victory in Missouri" published on September 16, 2015.

Wolf quoted Matt Patterson as saying, “Right-to-work has been shown to attract businesses and boost jobs... “Missouri is competing with right-to-work states on almost all sides. If it wants to stay competitive it needs to be right-to-work.”

Yesterday, September 21st, The Center for Worker Freedom's Executive Director Matt Patterson wrote an article for The American Spectator. He discussed last week's veto session in Missouri and the right-to-work vote that failed due to the actions of some Republicans.

Lawmakers who vote to override Governor Nixon’s veto will strike a blow for freedom

Today at a veto session in Jefferson City, Missouri lawmakers will gather to consider overriding Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of right-to-work.

Center for Worker Freedom and Americans for Tax Reform strongly urge lawmakers to support the override.

The Center for Worker Freedom’s Matt Patterson wrote an article on Friday September 11, 2015 about the upcoming right-to-work vote tomorrow in Missouri.

Matt Patterson explains why some Republican legislators voted against RTW and it looks like may do the same tomorrow:

“Many of these members who voted against their citizens, their party, and the very foundation of American liberty also receive significant union support, either endorsements or campaign contributions or both.”

Debunking Union lies about Right-to-Work Laws

There is a lie being spread across America by unions that right-to-work laws reduce wages. “Unions chant right-to-work for less!” to intimidate lawmakers from supporting right-to-work (RTW) laws, which give people the choice to opt out of union membership and dues. These laws have been passed in 25 of our 50 states.

Non-RTW states have a significantly higher percentage of union members. This means less money for union bosses. No wonder they hate RTW laws.

On August 3, 2015, Katy Grimes reported in the FlashReport that the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board (ALRB) Visalia Regional Director Silas Shawver is leaving his post, bound for a job in another part of the state government. 

Shawver’s been the main prosecutor of the Gerawan farm workers in Fresno who have been working for years to decertify the United Farm Workers (UFW).
