Backing Hillary; holding workers back

The Iowa Caucus hasn’t started. Not a single American has cast a ballot, yet unions are already pledging their money and muscle to Hillary Clinton.

Unions have been pouring millions into the pockets of almost entirely Democratic politicians since they began. According to USAToday in one election cycle alone (2011-2012) unions spent $1.7 billion on political activities.

The United Auto Workers Union (UAW) is hell-bent on stealing Christmas, taking hundreds of dollars from autoworkers and their families that might have been spent on loved-ones and stuffing it into the pockets of Democratic politicians.

The UAW and the Grinch have something in common. They both steal from hardworking people. The UAW through forced dues and the Grinch through forced entry. The Grinch wants to rob people of happiness; the UAW wants power and it needs your money to get it.

Volkswagen Denies UAW’s Request to Unionize at Chattanooga Plant

The recent attempt by the United Auto Workers Union (UAW) Local 42 to be recognized by a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee was contested by the automaker’s leadership.

 One hundred sixty-five maintenance workers filed with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on October 23, 2015 to give UAW Local 42 collective bargaining power. Currently, Local 42 acts as a forum for conversation, but is not an official part of the UAW and cannot collect dues or such.

Maintenance Workers Attempt to Fix a Plant that is Not Broken

On Friday October 23, 2015 165 Chattanooga Volkswagen maintenance employees filed with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for a secret ballot election to give United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 42 collective bargaining power.

This is the UAW’s way of trying to unionize the entire Volkswagen plant one group at a time and there’s a term for it, micro-unions.

On Thursday October 29, 2015 Times Free Press quoted the CWF's Executive Director Matt Patterson. Mike Pare's piece, "ACE won't seek place with UAW on VW ballot" discusses the 165 Volkswagen maintenance employees who filed on Friday October 23, 2015 with the National Labor Relations Board to seek UAW representation. 

Pare wrote that Patterson expressed "he was not surprised the UAW was seeking another election" and that the UAW "wants an election as soon as possible".
