Right-to-Work Supporter Assaulted in Missouri

Courtney Allen Curtis is a state representative from Missouri.  He is Chairman of the Special Committee on Urban Issues and the founder of North County Forever, an organization that provides social assistance in underprivileged communities. 

In his speaker biography, Curtis says he entered politics after witnessing a surge of neighborhood violence weeks after his niece was born. 

This makes it all the more upsetting now that he is the target of a vicious attack.

Union dues and agency fees, the mandatory fees non-members pay to the union, are spent on collective bargaining and, more importantly, partisan politics.

It was only about 30 degrees on the Supreme Court steps this morning, but the 200 Americans crowding the sidewalk were too fired up to notice the loss of feeling in their toes.  The flood of bodies, holding signs with phrases like ‘I Stand With Rebecca’ and ‘#WorkTogether’, rallied outside for the initial oral arguments of Friedrichs v.
